From my research I have discovered that Bauer Media Group are a privately owned media group that own hundreds of media assets in various media forms around the world. For example, they own over one hundred different radio stations and over four hundred different magazines in Europe. This leads to them earning over 2.2 billion euros of revenue every year, which is a very large amount of revenue which will allow them to expand even further. Additionally, they have multiple branches which will help them manage their assets effectively. this includes Bauer Publishing UK and Bauer Audio. Having these two branches is advantageous as they can have experts in those fields operating and managing them, ensuring that they are as efficient as possible with their money.
Also, they have around 15,000 employees, which is very strong for them as it ensures that they are able to run and operate their companies and branches as well as possible at all times around the world, benefitting their revenue and abilities even more. They operate in 14 countries around the world, including: Czech Republic, UK, USA, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Israel, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Finland, Denmark. As they operate in all of these countries, it allows them to reach their different demographics of target audiences through various products and services offered. Their CEO is Yvonne Bauer who is the fifth generation of owners within the family, with 140 years of tradition that was started by Johann Andreas Ludolph Bauer, the man who created Bauer Media Group.
They own over 100 radio stations, which includes stations as large as KISS, Jazz FM, and Absolute radio. These radio stations gather over 20 million European listeners every week, which is a huge amount of people who are participating in their growth and services that are offered. In addition, they run over 400 magazines, such as Take A Break, the biggest selling women's weekly magazine in the UK.
